Bleed is very similar in nature to Burn, dealing damage over time to you until the effect wears off a few seconds later. Bleeding also renders you unable to regenerate your Health for the duration. There is additionally a slight visual distortion as you are bleeding, making it slightly more difficult to spot and deal with enemies. If the attacker has Crowbars Deal more damage to healthy enemies. Deal 150% (+50% per stack) damage to enemies above 90% health. And the character is above 90% from their maximum combined health, multiply amount by (1+0.5.Crowbars). If the attacker has Armor-Piercing Rounds Deal extra damage to bosses.
For League of Legends on the PC, a GameFAQs message board topic titled 'What other champions do more damage if they have a higher health pool?' Bleed (as it should be) is always a fixed value, no matter the tier of the weapon. Bleed DoT does not scale linearly with the number of stacks. It has a w.nky equation, I’m gonna figure it out. Wiki says it deals 1,65 dps with each stack, but as the pictures show, it is not. (at 5 it does 2,2 at 6 it does 2,5 and at max it does 4,45 - weird). Question about bleed damage over time and damage taken. Is actually bleed double-dipping on damage taken? If I have monster hit and bleed in pride aura. Which scenario is actually correct? I deal physical 100 dmg - pride aura does 20% more - 120 dmg a) bleed is 70% of 120 dmg - 84 dmg over 1 second.
Taking razors edge as an example, which gives 30% inc phys damage with swords and swords deal 30% inc damage with ailments, does it mean my attack will deal 130% damage with the hit, then 70% of that will be bleed damage and this bleed damage will then be increased by 30% bcoz its an ailment. So the calculations will be 100 damage dealt normally.130 damage on hit due to 30% inc phys damage on hit. Bleed damage is 91 due to hit. Final bleed damage is 118 due 30% inc ailment damage. Have i gotten it right? Last bumped on Sep 19, 2020, 9:05:50 AM | Posted by Devilking5 on Sep 18, 2020, 3:10:32 PM |

So bleed damage is increased by increased ailment damage and not by modifiers to hit damage? So if i were to use a bow, the increased projectile damage nodes wont increase bleed damage, and if i were to use the new snipers mark, it wont increase bleed damage but on hit damage? | Posted by Devilking5 on Sep 18, 2020, 3:38:57 PM |
The bleed damage is based on the *base* physical damage of the skill that hit and caused the bleeding. Increases to that base damage do not apply to bleeding. From the wiki: ' An explanation of the 'double dipping' can be found here in the 3.0.0 patch notes. - here's my sig Last edited by AcrylicHercules on Sep 18, 2020, 4:55:16 PM | Posted by AcrylicHercules on Sep 18, 2020, 4:51:01 PM |
Oh that makes things a bit more simpler. Thnx | Posted by Devilking5 on Sep 18, 2020, 4:58:38 PM |
' So instead of '100 damage dealt normally.130 damage on hit due to 30% inc phys damage on hit. Bleed damage is 91 due to hit. Final bleed damage is 118 due 30% inc ailment damage.' Bleed is based off of the 100 (70 bleed dmg) then scaled w/ ailment dmg? Making on hit dmg 'useless' for bleed builds? | Posted by Heken on Sep 18, 2020, 5:59:23 PM |
Bleed or any other damage ailment is based on the raw hit damage (Before all the increase and everything) Added damage of their respective ailment does increase the RAW damage of a hit. Then you take that Raw damage and you use it for the math. -Damage -Physical Damage -Bleeding damage -Damage overtime All of that affect bleeding damage. If your spell do 100 damage and you have 100% increase physical damage. You hit for 100(200%) = 200 You apply bleed for 100(0.7)(200%) = 140 AND NOT You hit for 100(200%) = 200 You apply bleed for 200(0.7)(200%) = 370 This is double dip and doesn't work. In short something can affect both the hit and the ailment but ailment always use the RAW damage, not the actual damage of the hit. | Posted by milorius on Sep 18, 2020, 6:46:27 PM |
' Ooh. Thank you. In this situation, would +flat phys dmg apply to RAW damage ? It sounds like percents apply after the .7 but flat damage will be included in RAW. | Posted by Heken on Sep 18, 2020, 11:07:06 PM |
I see so something like brutality will also increase bleed damage | Posted by Devilking5 on Sep 19, 2020, 9:05:50 AM |

Helmet
Rare Armour + Evasion HelmetLook for rare armour + evasion helmet with at least 70 life, some intelligence and resistances. Try to get one with at least 300 armour and 300 evasion.
Body Armour
Rare Astal PlateLook for 6-linked Astral Plate, good idea is to use Celestial Justicar divination cards.
Craft it using Pristmatic + Serrated and optionally Prismatic fossils.
Main mods to look for is at least 90 life, Socketed Gems are Supported by Level 1 Maim and
Socketed Attacks have -15 to Total Mana Cost.
If you get resistances on top of these 3 mods, it’s ideal.
Gloves
Rare Spiked GlovesLook for rare Spiked gloves.
Mods to look for:
at least 80 to maximum life, some physical damage to attacks and as high elemental resistances as you can get.
You could also go with gloves that has Vulnerability on Hit corruption, giving your more versatility in terms of ring choice, since good ring with Vulnerability on hit will be really expensive.
Boots

Rare Armour + Evasion bootsLook for rare armour + evasion boots with at least 70 life, 30% increased movement speed and resistances.
Left Ring
Circle of GuiltLook for Circle of Guilt with Herald of Purity has x% increased Buff effect and Herald of Purity has x% reduced Mana Reservation. Look for a ring with as high rolls as possible.
Right Ring
Rare Ring with Vulnerability on HitOn our rare ring, we need Curse enemies with level 5 vulnerability on hit mod. Rings with this mod only drop in Azurite mine, so a good ring with this mod, life and resistance can be expensive.
Alternatively, you can try getting gloves with Vulnerability on hit corruption. Then you can get a regular Steel Ring with high life, physical damage to attacks and resistances.
Amulet
Rare Amulet with Elder InfluenceLook for rare amulet with Elder Influence.
The main mod we are looking for is Physical damage over time multiplier, the higher the better.
Other good mods would be #-# physical damage to attacks, life and resistances.
Belt
Ryslatha's CoilReally good belt for bleed builds.
Not only it gives us huge damage boost, it also has high life and 50 life recovery when we stun, which we do often.
1Hand Weapon
Rare 1-Handed Siege Axe with Elder InfluenceThis build needs axe with “60% chance for Bleeding inflicted with this Weapon to deal 100% more Damage” mod, which you can only get on Elder items.
To get an axe like that, your best bet would be to craft one yourself. Use 2 socket resonators with Jagged and Corroded fossils – you are looking for the previously mentioned 100% more damage bleed mod together with high physical damage mod.

Offhand
The SurrenderThis is an excellent shield for the build, although it’s pretty expensive. Since we block very often, it gives us tons of survivability in terms of life recovery on block. Reckoning also gives some extra damage.
Since you probably won’t be able to get The Surrender right off the bat, Lioneye’s Remorse is a good cheap shield to use until then.
Jewel
Jewel SetupOn jewels look for following mods:
1.) Increased maximum life
2.) Increased global phsyical damage, damage with bleeding, damage over time
3.) Resistances or attributes if you are lacking them
